Concrete pump mate — Duval County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Duval County, Texas. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
