Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Washington County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
