Immediate opening: steel fixer (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Webster County, Mississippi. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
