Body shop technician — Atkinson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a body shop technician in Atkinson County, Georgia. You will be based at a commercial fleet workshop. Day to day you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
