Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Valley County, Idaho. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On the job you will handle: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
