Excavator operator — Ashtabula County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Ashtabula County, Ohio. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. Day to day you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
