CNC programmer-operator wanted in Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Jefferson County, New York. You will work in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts.
