Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Montgomery County, Georgia. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
