Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Cass County, Illinois. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate The role involves: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
