Trowel-trade bricklayer — Broome County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Broome County, New York. The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
