Immediate opening: foundry worker (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Hardeman County, Tennessee. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Six days a week, one day off.
