Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 5+ years on the tools preferred.
