Offshore rigger — McCreary County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in McCreary County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port. On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Meals and transport allowance provided.
