Pipe lagger — Hardin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Hardin County, Iowa. You will work at an industrial plant. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Requirements: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
