Furnace operator — Linn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Linn County, Oregon. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
