Great opportunity: excavator operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Starke County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
