Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Bedford County, Virginia. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
