Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble mason in Archer County, Texas. The job is in a stone processing yard. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Day-to-day duties: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
