Sheet metal press operator — Michika

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Michika, Adamawa State. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
