Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Wayne County, New York. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
