Rebar foreman — Oldham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Oldham County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
