Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Menifee County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
