GTAW welder — Cedar County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Cedar County, Missouri. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
