Bodywork technician — Rotherham

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Rotherham, England. The job is at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Your main tasks: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
