Elevator technician — St. Helens

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in St. Helens, England. You will work in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
