Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Lawrence County, Arkansas. The role involves: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Score the top of loaves before baking • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
