Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Haskell County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
