Power float operator • Gladwin County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Gladwin County, Michigan. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
