Vertical milling machine operator • Vilas County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Vilas County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an automotive components factory. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $10,750 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
