Urgent requirement: laundry presser (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Jewell County, Kansas. The job is at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
