We are recruiting: formwork carpenter (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Mercer County, Illinois. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
