Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Flathead County, Montana. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
