Restoration bricklayer — Robertson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Robertson County, Kentucky. You will work at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
