Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Calhoun County, Georgia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
