Gypsum plasterer — Putnam County

Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Putnam County, Tennessee. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. On a typical shift you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
