On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Rotating shifts.
