Flatlock machine operator — Ozark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Ozark County, Missouri. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 6+ years on the tools preferred.
