Brickwork mason — Kanke

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Kanke, Plateau State. You will work on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation.
