Precision welder — Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Jackson County, Iowa. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
