Sand plant operator — Hutchinson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
