Argon welding operator — Roosevelt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Part-time with flexible hours.
