Car painter — Capitol Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
