Vertical milling machine operator — Darlington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Darlington County, South Carolina. The job is in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
