TIG welder — Howard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Howard County, Missouri. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
