Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Whitley County, Indiana. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges.
