Safety officer — Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Wayne County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Part-time with flexible hours. $6,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
