Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You will work on a commercial building project. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On a typical shift you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations.
