TIG welder — Linn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Linn County, Kansas. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
