Immediate opening: pressman (Florida)

Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Holmes County, Florida. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
