Immediate opening: horizontal milling machine operator (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Franklin County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
